ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN STUDENT ONLINE PORTFOLIO

The following student portfolio links were realised in the Senmon Eigo (Specialized English) class in the Environmental Design Dept. of Kyoto University of Art and Design between 2015 and 2017. The main theme of the syllabus was to make student express themselves about design and projects using specific and technical vocabulary. I made students slowly build knowledge by blocks from class to class in order for them to present their own projects. I introduced the carbonmade.com environment (the first image below is from that website) at the beginning of the semester for them to play with templates, hand in homework and do small presentations throughout the semester. This platform was used for their final presentations at which time I recruited Kyoto architects to come, listen, evaluate and interact with students.
